About Me - The Library Media Specialist:
I live in Perry County with my husband and my cat.
- Bachelors Degree from Troy State University in History and English Education for grades 6-12
- Masters Degree in History at the University of Alabama at Birmingham
- Masters Certification in History for grades 7-12 at the University of West Alabama
- Masters Degree in Education (Library Media) at the University of West Alabama
- Education Specialist Degree (Teacher Leader) at the University of West Alabama.
I taught in Dallas County prior to coming to WBMS in 2003. This is my 21st year in education. This is my fourth year as the library media specialist.

- Students under 13 need a parent to create a "library card." They need a phone number and an email. A verification code will be sent to the phone number. This will be needed to finish the process. Students 13 and over can create their own.
- Camellia Net has a Kids and Teens tab.
- Parents will need to supervise use since access to "adult" books is available.
