Principal's Message

Dr. Greg Blake, Principal

The African proverb, “It takes a village to raise a child,” teaches us that it takes a communal effort to raise a child. A child has the best chance to live up to his/her potential only when the entire community unites in the common interest of the child. As the principal at West Blocton Middle School, I invite parents, educators, administrators, and other community members to take an active role in the learning process of our children at West Blocton Middle School. An individual child is the building block upon which the larger society is built. Hence, our community as a whole has the ability to shape society one child at time.
